Mason Jones Pickett
Mason Pickett is a Tri-Cities native with nearly three decades of experience practicing law in the community. After attending Richland High School, Mason earned his undergraduate degree in Psychology from the University of Idaho, where he was elected to Phi Beta Kappa. He went on to earn his law degree from the University of Oregon School of Law in 1997.
Mason was admitted to practice law in Washington in 1998 and began his legal career practicing alongside his father, attorney Michael R. Pickett. During the early years of his career, Mason practiced primarily in family and criminal law, developing extensive courtroom and litigation experience.
Since 2009, Mason's practice has focused exclusively on family law. A highly experienced litigator with substantial trial experience, Mason is a strong and effective courtroom advocate who is particularly skilled in complex family law matters, including cases involving significant assets and complicated financial and property issues, as well as high-conflict parenting disputes. He brings a strategic and analytical approach to his cases and is committed to staying current on developments in Washington family law and emerging case law.
Mason's depth of experience allows him to effectively navigate cases involving complicated legal and factual issues while providing clients with knowledgeable and straightforward counsel. Whether a matter can be resolved through negotiation or requires litigation and trial, he works to develop a strategy tailored to the circumstances of each case and the client's long-term goals.
In 2023, Mason founded Pickett Law, PLLC, where he and his team continue to provide experienced, high-quality family law representation to clients throughout the Tri-Cities.
Amy Crider
Amy Crider is a Tri-Cities native and has spent her entire legal career working in family law. After graduating from Richland High School and Washington State University, Amy joined Pickett Law, PLLC in 2008 as a family law paralegal. That experience provided her with a strong practical foundation in family law and ultimately inspired her to pursue becoming an attorney.
In 2010, Amy entered the Washington State Bar Association's Rule 6 Law Clerk Program, an alternative path to legal practice that combines academic study with extensive, supervised legal experience. She successfully completed the program in 2014, passed the Washington State Bar Examination, and was admitted to practice law in October 2014.
Amy's practice focuses on family law and adoption. Having worked in family law since 2008, she brings nearly two decades of experience to her practice and a practical understanding of the challenges families face during divorce, separation, and other significant transitions.
Known for her calm and level-headed approach, Amy works hard to help clients identify practical solutions, reach meaningful resolutions, and move forward with their lives. She regularly represents clients in mediation and values the opportunity mediation provides to resolve difficult family law matters thoughtfully and efficiently while giving clients greater control over the outcome.
In addition to representing clients, Amy serves as a supervising attorney at Pickett Law, working closely with the firm's paralegal team and overseeing case management to ensure clients receive responsive and effective representation.
Outside the office, Amy enjoys spending time with her husband and two daughters, usually with a good book nearby. She also enjoys exploring the Tri-Cities and taking advantage of the many wineries and tasting rooms throughout the region.
